Switchboard is pulling most of this junk from web-page correlations. i.e it sees "Bob Woodward" near the CIA phone number on some web page and puts the two together. That is why there are so many names for one number and why so many are unbelievable.

Cryptome: While there is some junk on the lists, there are also bountiful legitimate names of persons within the agencies. All databases contain junk, especially those of spies, governments, advertisers, spammers and data resellers.

Some names are humorous ("Lawrence Waterhousespy," "Bin Laden") or ironic ("Hayden Lied," "Odom Warns"); others are spoofs: "Justin Rood" is the name of a journalist for the investigative unit for ABC News.
